Noteworthy Handbell Choir

The Noteworthy Handbell Choir is an ecumenical and community handbell choir sponsored by
the First Baptist Church of Potsdam.

Rehearsals are Tuesday nights at 7:30pm at the First Baptist Church of Potsdam. We will also be meeting one Saturday a month. Please see the church calendar for our update practice listings.

We are currently looking for new members to join. Interested in trying it out?

2010 Fall Season:

We are wrapping up our Summer Repretoire with a concert
on August 25th at the Ives Park Gazebo, at 6:30pm.

We are also hoping to schedule some concerts for the local adult homes, but with the impending arrival of a new baby for the director and his wife, we are not quite sure yet when these are going to be scheduled for. :)

We will begin practice on music for the Winter Season shortly after this concert set. This would be the perfect time for someone who is thinking of joining the choir to join.

Don't be intimidated, we can start you out with just one bell, color code your music and we have lots of fun! Come join us!

Wondering about our repertoire?

We play just about everything. Literally.

In the summer we have played many familiar favorites like: Old MacDonald, Songs of America, Two American Folk Songs, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring and Sunrise Sunset.

During Christmas seasons we have played traditional Christmas carols and we have flown around the world playing Christmas carols and songs from many different countries: Russia, Sweden, Ukrainian, Spanish, Venezuelan, just to name a few.

Where have we played? We have played at a variety of venues...
